What's included in a standard house cleaning?

Every room is dusted, including light fixtures and ceiling fans; kitchens and bathrooms are cleaned and disinfected; mirrors are polished; beds are made; trash goes out; and every floor is vacuumed and mopped. Baseboards and window sills are dusted. The room-by-room checklist above shows every task.

What does a deep clean include that a standard clean doesn't?

A deep clean adds the buildup a regular clean doesn't reach: tile grout, the inside of the microwave, the range hood, hand-wiped baseboards, doors and door frames, window tracks, air vents, interior window glass, and behind and under movable furniture.

What's on a move-out cleaning checklist?

Everything in a deep clean, plus the inside of every cabinet, drawer and closet, the inside of the oven, fridge and dishwasher, pantry shelves and spot-cleaned walls. It's done in an empty home, so tasks like making beds and tidying décor don't apply.

Is the inside of the oven and fridge included?

In a move-in/move-out clean, yes. For standard and deep cleans they're add-ons: inside the oven is $45 and inside the fridge is $35.

Do you change the sheets?

We make every bed. If you leave fresh sheets out on the bed, we'll put them on. Washing the used set is a laundry add-on.

Do you clean inside windows?

Deep and move-out cleans include interior window glass. For a standard clean it's an add-on at $50. We don't clean exterior windows.

How long does each clean take?

A standard clean usually takes 2 to 3 hours, a deep clean 4 to 6 hours and a move-in/move-out clean 4 to 7 hours, depending on the size and condition of the home.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

Just pick up clutter from floors and counters so we can reach the surfaces. You don't need to pre-clean. For a move-out, the home should be empty.

What's the difference between a standard, deep and move-out clean?

A standard clean ($89+, 2 to 3 hours) keeps a lived-in home clean: dusting, kitchens, bathrooms, beds and floors. A deep clean ($180+, 4 to 6 hours) adds grout, baseboards, doors, vents, the range hood and behind furniture. A move-in/move-out clean ($174+, 4 to 7 hours) adds the inside of every cabinet, closet and appliance in an empty home.

Florida extras we watch for

Mildew in grout and caulk. Humidity keeps showers damp. Deep cleans scrub the grout; regular visits keep it from coming back.
Sand in sliding-door tracks. Beach sand and grit collect in tracks and scratch the glass door as it slides.
Salt film on glass. Near the water, sliders and mirrors dull quickly.
Ceiling fans. They run most of the year here, so we dust them on every visit.
